MORE INFO: Natural Ear Music Camp will furnish the PA and microphones and a drum kit for each group. Guitar amps, guitars, basses, keyboards, stands, CD players, cords, straps, picks and strings will be the responsibility of the campers (rentals are available). Beginning groups will pick their songs from a list provided by Natural Ear Music. Advanced bands will negotiate material choice.
Double Dave's delivers pizza rolls each day for the students to purchase. Coke machines and a microwave are also available.
All songs are chosen and keyed by staff. You may be asked to sing or learn something new for the benefit of the group. We specialize in classic guitar driven rock and roll: music that has inspired famous musicians all over the world.
Natural Ear Music Campers have performed at the Austin Music Awards, Keep Austin Weird Festival, Antone's, Eanes Fall Festival, Austin Music Network's Battle of the Bands during SXSW, the Chronicles' Hot Sauce Festival at Woolridge Park, the Alamo Drafthouse, Scholz Beer Garden, Jovita's, La Zona Rosa, Threadgill's, the Continental Club, the Victory Grill, Waterloo Park, Auditorium Shores, Flamingo Cantina, Flipnotics, Baby Acapulco's, the Saxon Pub, the Hole in the Wall and the Broken Spoke.
