Natural Ear Music was established in 1991 in Austin, Texas in order to teach kids how to play rock 'n' roll by ear. We group kids who are close enough in age and experience to form a functional band unit. We teach them what we know best; classic guitar driven rock in a live music format.
These bands perform at student festivals, concerts and local music venues. We are always in demand for parties and school functions, as well as hosting our own all-school shows.
We don't use sheet music or tab--music is played naturally and easily. With over 20 years in Austin, as far as we know, we were the first "school of rock" anywhere.
